Michael graduated from the Three Schools of Art (New School of Art) in Toronto in 1974 and had his first gallery showing in 1979. His work now is found in the collections of many individuals and organizations, including the University of Toronto, Trinity College, Dr. Ray Moriyama, Kenneth Thomson, Diane Dupuy, Dave Broadfoot, Sandra Shamus, Imperial Oil Canada, The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and the World Health Organization.
Michael’s work encompasses a remarkable range of subject matter, in depth, with a corresponding mastery of his mediums. Here we see a small selection of studies, drawn from life and resolved further in the studio.
Michael was with the Fran Hill Gallery in Toronto for many years. For current inquiries, please contact him directly.
