John’s passion for creating art grew from working in the publishing industry for many years, doing layout, typography, and designing covers for consumer and business magazines.<\/p>\n

He has taken art classes at Central and Danforth Tech in portrait, life drawing, sculpture and painting. Since retirement, he has enjoyed portraying the human form through painting and sculpture.<\/p>\n

“To choose between sculpture and painting would be very difficult. Both offer outlets of expression that I find very exciting.”<\/p>\n
