Liz Wilde

Liz is a Toronto native who studied Visual Arts at York University and OCAD. One of the first artists to embrace the computer as an artistic tool, Liz spent much of the 90’s offering workshops in electronic media to students and teachers through the Ontario Arts Council. With her speciality of computer art, animation, video and New Media, Liz spent the last decade teaching art at Cawthra Park Secondary School in Port Credit. She was also an instructor for many years at the Haliburton School of the Arts.

With the freedom of retirement, Liz is excited to be back in her studio – reconnecting with conte, paint brushes and friends in the Riverdale art community. Nature is always a source of inspiration, as is the unique character of face and figure. Colour, harmony, and texture are important elements of her work.
