‌Monday evening drawing and painting sessions with our superb life models have been put on hold, at least until the City reopens the Withrow Park Clubhouse facility. In the meantime, for posts on some of our current activities check out our Facebook page:  Central Connection  (link in the footer below).

Stay well, keep your brushes wet and be kind to each other.

UPDATE June 1, 2020:  see “NEWS” for a brief update on our Annual General Meeting.  We’re also updating and revamping this website to better suit the needs of the current times.  More soon !

Central Connection is a group of established and emerging Toronto artists who have been painting together since about 1990.

Originally connected through night classes at Central Technical School, the group now meets every week (except holidays) to draw and paint from the model at the Withrow Park Clubhouse.  Occasional  trips for a bit of  landscape painting en plein air are also part of the fun.

The artists’ works can be found in many individual and corporate collections, as well as Toronto galleries and shows.

A group exhibition is held every year in late spring.
